Ashton's Latest Talent - With the video this time...

Some parents teach their kids to read, or share, or be kind to others.  We only teach our kids the most important things in life.  The things that will help them get through life with flying colors.  We teach them how to dominate at fruit ninja.

our little max.... or 'mac' as carter calls him, is a delight. this little guy is getting so big! he is 8 months now and weighs in at 21 pounds. he is crawling and starting to pull himself up on things. he can reach the toys and likes to keep them as scattered as possible. he is feeding himself really well and is working on getting those top teeth (they had better hurry because they are making him a little cranky!). he smiles easily and his fat cheeks are irresistible. we love this little man and are so glad he is developing properly. he is a great addition to our family! we love you 'mac-aroon'!

Hayden... Sweet or Sour

Hayden had school pictures a few weeks ago.  I'm amazed that none of her "evilness" comes through in her pictures.  And as long as photographers can photoshop out all the scars on her face... she'll be good.  I need to put a picture of her on my night stand to help me forget all the crap she puts me through each day.  Oh we love our Hayden.

Brooklyn and Hayden at FHE. They usually don't love each other - so this was a rare moment. Brooklyn came in BALLING the other day, "Mom, Hayden keeps saying my shorts aren't cute. Even after I tell her that her shorts are cute, she won't tell me that my shorts are cute." Sheesh! Please tell me I haven't started this phase of life already. They fight CONSTANTLY. GIRLS GIRLS and more GIRLS. Brooklyn: my sensitive sweet heart. Hayden: the child with no heart or feelings. It's going to be a long battle. And the teenage years haven't even started.

I've yet to get a really great one of Aston awake. It's a work in progress. She is feeling out just perfectly and finally getting some of that Lee/Arnett chub that we are so used to.

Hayden's Talent

Brooklyn is doing a dance in the talent show with all of her extended Wright cousins. There are over 30 of them dancing to White and Nerdy which they changed to "Wright and Nerdy" Hayden has been observing and I caught her "practicing" I should post Brooklyn doing the real version so you get an idea of what it's supposed to look like. But she's pretty dang close. The part where she hits the floor is her version of "dropping it"

Some of you teach your kids mathematics, maybe the alphabet, or maybe even the scriptures. This is what we teach our kids. We'll see where it gets them in life.
